I just have a question regarding the negative review I read. I know that Colleen Hoover books receive a lot of hate for being "problematic" (which is a term I hate), so the bad reviews despite my enjoyment of the book did not surprise me. I read a couple of positive reviews and a couple of negative reviews.

So after reading it, I did what I always do after reading a book and went to goodreads. I had only read one Colleen Hoover book before I read this one and I liked it but this one. I just finished and really enjoyed the story, so I'd happy to hear other's thoughts or comments as they read. Loved that Quinn and her sister both referred to their mother as "your mother". It was a relief to see that Quinn realized she didn't need to have a child to be happy with the man she loved.

I use to teach English at a rural high school, and it seems that the mindset of the students and the families in the town was that a natural expression of love is sex, childbirth, and/or marriage, in whatever order these may happen. At one point, I started hoping this wouldn't be a tragic romance where she dies, in the end, giving Graham the child in death she couldn't give him in life. But this novel was told through Quinn and she viewed Graham as being almost perfect. He was very accepting to the point of almost being too perfect while Quinn was spiraling out of control. It was clear Quinn's inability to have a child affected their relationship, but I would like to know Graham's perspective. Though, it would have been great to get more of Graham's perspective on their relationship at times. (view spoiler) [I like how Hoover went back and forth between the beginning of the relationship, and what I started to realize about 2/3 the way through was the rekindling of their marriage and love. I'm going to hide everything as a spoiler so I don't ruin the reading experience for anyone else. Hi all! ( I apologize for my rambling thoughts.) Hope this helps everyone! Any questions just ask. You can always hit "preview" right next to the "Post" box if you want to see if it worked before you post the comment. The stuff I actually want to say that will spoil it So to sum up - type this - but in a straight line Then tell GR you want to stop hiding the spoilery section by closing the code: Start with telling it the HTML code to hide: So for a spoiler, you basically "wrap" what you want to say in html code that tells GR to hide it. Here's how you do it - and this is going to be tricky because in explaining how to do it, it actually does it! You use html codes, all of which can be found here: We can talk in general but use spoiler tags so we don't spoil details for those who aren't as far along in their reading. Hey guys! Here's where we'll talk about the book and there will be spoilers.
